Kongress „Musikalische Bildung im Ökosystem Musik“ am 25. & 26. März 2026 in Berlin

Mit dem Kongress „Musikalische Bildung im Ökosystem Musik“ setzt sich der Deutsche Musikrat (DMR) dafür ein, das Bewusstsein für die Musikalische Bildung zu stärken und deren Potenziale für Zusammenhalt, Inklusion, Integration, Demokratie, Transformation und persönliche Entfaltung zu würdigen. Im Fokus stehen dabei sowohl die Bedeutung Musikalischer Bildung für Public Health, transkulturelle und diversitätsorientierte Entwicklungen als auch ihre Relevanz für Wirtschaft und Sozialraum.

  • Veranstaltungsort: Universität der Künste Berlin, Bundesallee 1-12, 10719 Berlin

In sechs Podiumsgesprächen sowie mit Workshops und Präsentationen wird die gesamtgesellschaftliche Wirkung Musikalischer Bildung umfassend beleuchtet. Vertreten sind unter anderem Staatsminister Dr. Wolfram Weimer (Beauftragter der Bundesregierung für Kultur und Medien) und Prof. Dr. Markus Hilgert (Präsident der Universität der Künste Berlin) als Gastgeber. DMR-Präsidentin Prof. Lydia Grün bewertet abschließend die Ergebnisse, die in die weitere Arbeit des Deutschen Musikrats einfließen werden.

Federführend moderiert von DMR-Generalsekretärin Antje Valentin werden über 40 Mitwirkende erwartet, darunter Prof. Dr. Dirk Brockmann (Center Synergy of Systems, TU Dresden), Prof. Dr. Claudia Männel (Neuropsychologin an der Charité), Jürgen Dusel (Beauftragter der Bundesregierung für die Belange von Menschen mit Behinderungen), Dr. Motte (Rave the Planet gGmbH), Prof. Dr. Juliane Gerland (Universität Münster), Cymin Samawatie (künstlerische Leiterin des Trickster Orchestra), Dr. Michaela Stoffels (Referentin für Kultur und Bildung Deutscher Städtetag) u.v.m. Für einen anregenden Austausch in Vernetzungsformaten sorgen zudem vielfältige Impulse aus bundesweiten Projekten der Musikalischen Bildung – von Ensembles, Orchestern, Musikschulen, Konzerthäusern, Studiengängen, Kompetenzzentren und Zukunftslaboren.

Musicians can sing or play in the ensembles of the German Music Council, the Federal Youth Orchestra, the Federal Jazz Orchestra and the Federal Youth Choir, and take part in competitions. With four other projects in the area of promotion, the German Music Council supports young, highly talented musicians, conductors, composers and interpreters of contemporary music as well as pop musicians on their way to a professional musical life and builds a bridge between musicians, organizers and the public. The German Music Council is the sponsor of the competitions for children and young people: Jugend musiziert and Jugend jazzt, the competitions for professional musicians: the German Music Competition, the German Conducting Award (formerly the German Conducting Prize) and the German Choral Conducting Award, as well as the competitions for amateur musicians: theGerman Choir Competition and the German Orchestra Competition.

The German Music Council (Deutscher Musikrat e. V.) is the mouthpiece and initiator of music policy issues for its members.

Promoting young musicians in the ensemblesof the German Music Council also includes performing on stage in front of an audience. The project leaders are happy to accept requests for engagements. The German Music Competition concert promotion program arranges approximately 200 concerts a year for concert organizers and concert series.

Music educators will find concepts and working materials for music lessons at the Podium Gegenwart's educational projects. Current developments in music policy and studies can be found in the "Music Education" section, as well as specialist articles on this topic at the German Music Information Center.
