Musician‘s Health
You would like to improve your practice and your performance, be physically and mentally ready for music? Than you are right in this session.
You will get an insight into musician´s health in the workshop through three topics:
1. basic requirements for successful music making and performance
2. practising practice - how does the brain learn, what should be considered when practising and rehearsing? How can breaks help you to practice more efficiently
3. mental health: concentration, positive thoughts, setting goals
The workshop is structured very practical. You will get to know physical and mental exercises to optimize your playing and integrate the newly learned into your practice.
Hanna Keßeler is a lecturer for musicians' health at the University of Music and Dance Cologne and the University Mozarteum Salzburg. She is concerned with the prevention of musicians, physical and mental coaching, performance and stage training. She plays flute, piano, cello, is a singer and is passionate about sports like jogging, dancing, surfing and cycling.

Sie arbeitet im Bereich Musikerprävention, physisches und mentales Coaching, Performance- und Bühnentraining. Sie ist Vorstandsmitglied der deutschen Gesellschaft für Musikermedizin und Musikphysiologie (DGFMM).
