National Selection of Concerts for Young Artists
The NATIONAL SELECTION OF CONCERTS FOR YOUNG ARTISTS (BAKJK) is the German Music Council’s oldest support programme. It arranges chamber concert engagements for prize winners and award recipients of the German Music Competition for one concert season throughout Germany.
The BAKJK smoothes the way for particularly talented musicians to help them get their career started: Over one concert season they go on tour in Germany, gain performing experience, forge useful contacts and enrich the concert life throughout the country. Taking part in the BAKJK is a crucial career aid for many musicians on their way from the university to professional life.
